IE8-7/10-A useful Browser that supports Toolbars, usually said to be "The Browser" But can be a little too blocky and can crash a lot, it is among the most popular Browser's.

Opera-6/10-A fast Browser with many features, although the Design feels like it wasn't made by experts. Fast but not the fastest, if you have an old Computer then this is recommended.

Google Chrome-9/10-The fastest Browser out there, doesn't crash that much and has a great, sleek Design, user friendly although doesn't support many too many Features.

Chameleon-3/10-A neat little Browser that's good for beginners but is far too slow for people that need to Browse quickly or people that are setting up a Business.

FireFox-8/10-A fast Browser with a lot of Add-ons, arguably faster than IE, has a lot of Features and is a fast Browser with good Security. Crashes every now and then. It is among the most popular Browser's.

IE9-5/10-The new Browser that has a lot of stuff jammed into it which is good because it adds more features, but bad because it slows the Browser's speed dramatically. Slopera mozillaow and not recommended.

NOTE: The Opera Browser was tested on my slow Windows XP Computer and your results may vary, the others have been tested on 2+ Windows Computers. To be completely honest with you, for a computer running a Microsoft Operating System, Mozilla FireFox is your best bet. It is the fastest information fetching browser out there today. With tons of add-ons and various interface changes available to every consumer.
It also enables you to design your own browser design so you see what you want to see.
Most websites and software run more smoothly through FireFox than any other web browser out there today.
With FireFox, you also have the ability to go into about:config and edit the network.http.pipelining and network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to speed up your search results and past information gathered from cache and cookies.
FireFox was made for you. Not you specifically, but you as in the user.It was made to make things easier for us and so forth. Another plus is that almost every website looks better through FireFox vs IE or Google Chrome.

Google Chrome will be nopera mozillaumber two on the list. Problem here is, they invade your privacy. They gather too much and fetch too much of your information (on legal bounds) for their own use. I don't know about you, but I rather not have them doing that.

If you look at a list of most used browser from 2009 to today (even though this year has just started. The number one most used browser is Fire Fox, followed by Internet Explorer and then Google Chrome.
If you have to ask this question, you wont notice a speed difference between any of those. So what it boils down to is which one you like the best.

i think google Chrome is the best, the address bar is google if you type in youtube it will take you to youtube website i think its faster than any other browsers i have used and its my google that must make it good lol
I prefer Chrome....it's also the most secure. I also love the fact that the address bar is also a search bar.
I like safari because you dont have to install add ons like in firefox and explorer crashes sometimes but firefox you can customize a lot with add ons.
