microsoft antivirus protectionDoes Microsoft Securityt Essential substitute for an antivirus protection?

Well i found this on microsoft offical web. It was free so im not sure it works. I just wanna know if itll work as a substitue for Nortron. It doesnt have to be SUPER good as norton just does it work.
Definitely . Its very good. more than an bale substitute for Norton
if i were to recommend free antiviruses
Id rank it among the top 3. However, make sure you only use 1 antivirus in your system somicrosoft antivirus protection if you would like to try MSE, uninstall your norton first. 2 AVs do not necessarily mean better protection
It works...
ok i guess for a free anti virus.
I would buy a decent anti virus though..
also google microsoft malicious software removal tool for whatever you are running...besides mac.
vista 32 bit/ 64 bit.
Good tool for removing any trojans.
if you do use Microsoft Security Essential use smicrosoft antivirus protectionomething like spybot with it. i would recommend using avast though. its better than the other crap out there.
works wonderfully i highly recomend it but sometimes on older computers it might say that your computer is a fraud soo its 50 50
Yes it it very good.

Make sure to remover norton first.
Yes it is better because it can DELETE not just tell you its there.
Yes, I use it on my computer.
