In my opinion, you should write about what makes you happy. Don't write about something that doesn't mean anything to you. You also shouldn't make stuff up, it shows. For example, don't write a love song if you've never expedo song lyricsrienced love before. Include your feelings, they add emotion to the song. If you aren't feeling it, don't write it.
I write songs only when I have deep emotions or have strong feelings I wish to express in song. Write what yodo song lyricsu know, or in this case what you feel. For example, if you have never been betrayed then don't sing about betrayal. Lyrics are what is important to you not anyone else. Hope this helped!

It starts in adolescence. I am in my 30s and still struggle with it. Self-cutting is an expression of angry feelings that are difficult to express. If you do this you are not crazy, you just are a sensitive person who is dealing with difficult emotions. Most experts believe that its a phase that lasts no longer than ten years, however I do not believe this to be true. Self harm will continue until you find other ways to deal with your emotions. I am including some links.

Mental disorders don't discriminate. If you feel you have to cut yourself or if someone you know may be doing this the best thing self-cuttingto do is get some help. Talk to a counselor or a shrink.
It can be at any age and it tied (usually) to other mental health issues that are going on, such as anxiety or depression. The cutting is not the problem, it is the symptom. Get help. Soon.

I have helped a number of x self cutters come to Jesus and give up the seeming pleasure of self mutilation.

i think self-cutting is mostly happening with teenagers because tself-cuttinghey have a lot of stress with school, home, etc. I know a couple of people that are my age that i hang out with did it and one was goth like me but she had a lot of stress going on with her life but i don't think people should get help because it's there decision and they can do whatever they want but i would stop because the longer you do it the more addicting it becomes... trust me

Last time i had a Prawn sandwich my face swelled up with itching, it spread mostly on my chin and towards my head, my mum thinks that i could be allergic to it, do you think thats what it could be. Also, when i ate shrimp curry the other night the same thing happend, these small itching spots appeared on my chin and was gradually moving up towards my head, it really itches but only ever occurs when i eat prawns or shrimps Can you identify the problem for me?

i love prawns so im not too pleased about being allergic to them :( but anyone can develop an allergy to anything at anytime sometimes theres no logic to it othertimes its environmental changes
it is only the last two times that i've eaten prawns that i have had a reaction to them
1. in a prawn salad 2. grilled prawns at my sisters barbeque
both times my eyes went itcan you eat shrimp headschy but the second time the right side of my lip swelled up i had to take antihistomines to bring it down
any allergy causes the body to attack something which is harmless but it thinks is a threat to the body and as food goes into our bloodstream it attacks it inside the blood vessels thats why you can get rashes or feel itchy or swell up in places
think yourself lucky because some people get an anotholectic reaaction to certain foods (he throat closes up) they need adrenalin immediately to counteract the reaction otherwise thwy will die from asphixiation (no oxygen getting to the brain)
Sounds more like a shell fish alergy.
You should seek medical advice before anything more serious happens. Make an appointment with your doctor and arrange some testing at a local clinic.
That alergy could become life threatening if its left alone!

I know at 13 taking showers all the time sucks. But you are at the age of puberty and so your developing sweat glands stink more than an adult or kid. So probably at around 14, 15 you can skateboard and sweat and it wont be a problem. But at 13 I would take many showers a day if possible. Especially if you want to get this girl. If you stink she wont care about you just like you say you dont care about stinking.

why do we dream brain statesWhy is it that we often forget dreams when we wake up?
Does it have to do with the place of the brain that dreams take place. Or the state of activity is often not major enough to be remembered?

We are 'stuck' to sensory level of perception, when awake. We remember those dreams, which have detailed clear 'visuals' and to which we strongly 'react' , almost similawhy do we dream brain statesr to inputs through sensory level during wakeful states. Even during wakeful state, we 'forget' the non-verbal-thoughts, unless they too are quite strong, like fear, intense love, excitement etc. With the logical mind getting more and more polarised towards 'commercial-type-calculative' thoughts, we even forget non-commercial-verbal-thoughts, not twhy do we dream brain stateso talk of dreams!
Because those dream do not carry any important message

*Please read this side note. I am not trying to convert anyone. I am unbiased on this issue of theism. I just want to hear different opinions on what this man experienced. Yes, this a true experience. It was a talk given by Boyd K. Packer. Look it up on google if you don't believe me. No, this is not my experience. And, yes, I know I already asked this question.. but I didn't word it right. So, I reworded it so I get more of the answers I was wanting. I just thought that this man went through an interesting experience and i just wanted to hear different opinions. Please, feel free to share and I know it's kinda long. And yes.. I really am intending this as a question!*

I sat on a plane next to a professed atheist who pressed his disbelief in God so urgently that I bore my testimony to him. “You are wrong,” I said, “there is a God. I know He lives!”
He protested, “You don’t know. Nobody knows that! You can’t know it!” When I would not yield, the atheist, who was an attorney, asked perhaps the ultimate question on the subject of testimony. “All right,” he said in a sneering, condescending way, “you say you know. Tell me how you know.”
When I attempted to answer, even though I held advanced academic degrees, I was helpless to communicate.
When I used the words Spirit and witness, the atheist responded, “I don’t know what you are talking about.” The words prayer, discernment, and faith, were equally meaningless to him. “You see,” he said, “you don’t really know. If you did, you would be able to tell me how you know.”
I felt, perhaps, that I had borne my testimony to him unwisely and was at a loss as to what to do. Then came the experience! Something came into my mind. Such an idea came into my mind and I said to the atheist, “Let me ask if you know what salt tastes like.”
“Of course I do,” was his reply.
“When did you taste salt last?”
“I just had dinner on the plane.”
“You just think you know what salt tastes like,” I said.
He insisted, “I know what salt tastes like as well as I know anything.”
“If I gave you a cup of salt and a cup of sugar and let you taste them both, could you tell the salt from the sugar?”
“Now you are getting juvenile,” was his reply. “Of course I could tell the difference. I know what salt tastes like. It is an everyday experience—I know it as well as I know anything.”
“Then,” I said, “assuming that I have never tasted salt, explain to me just what it tastes like.”
After some thought, he ventured, “Well-I-uh, it is not sweet and it is not sour.”
“You’ve told me what it isn’t, not what it is.”
After several aask me anything strokes ultimatettempts, of course, he could not do it. He could not convey, in words alone, so ordinary an experience as tasting salt. I bore testimony to him once again and said, “I know there is a God. You ridiculed that testimony and said that if I did know, I would be able to tell you exactly how I know. From that experience forward, I have never been embarrassed or ashamed that I could not explain in words alone everything I know spiritually. The Apostle Paul said it this way:
“We speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
Hmmm. This is the same argument someone else came up with recently - how would you explain the colour red to a room full of blind people. The answer then was that you could explain about light and wavelengths etc and you could provide experts who can testify that red exists. If you provide enough people who have done independent tests and found evidence of the colour red, then you have to believe them.
It's the same with salt. You may have never tasted it, but you have four other senses - you can see, touch and smell it. You can also find people who have physically tasted it and can give actual evidence that it exists and presumably there is evidence that can be provided in terms of taste receptors on the tongue and how they respond to salt.
Contrast that to someone who claims to know God exists - for a fact. Yet that person has never seen, heard, touched, tasted or smelled god, and cannot provide independently verified evidence that said god exists, and you still just have someone who mistakes wishful thinking for fact.
It sounds like a total fabrication. Mr Packer has been caught in lies before.
And if it is not:
I can give you some salt to taste. Whether you believe in salt or not put some on your tongue and you will taste it.
As for his conviction proving his God is real:
What about the Catholic who says that his version of God is real?
What about the Hindu who says that Vishnu is Lord?
What about the Muslim who says Allah is Great and above all?
What about the man who, with absolute certainty, says that he is Napoleon Bonaparte?
Why is it that the last one, with the evidence that we see against his claim, is declared delusional - but the man, with the evidence that we see against his claim, who says god is real must be given respectask me anything strokes ultimate.

The typical CHRISTIAN God includes lots of "magic" and "mysticism" Miracles, power of prayer, etc. All of them can be tested, and shown to be false.

I hv 2 organise some meetings for students of between 15-18 and do you know good ice-breaking games I can use on those occasions... games that would take only 10-15 mins?
well, at volleyball camp, the first day, we played elbow tag. it really made us more comfortable with each other. whaat you do is gather into groups of two people per group. next you stand in a circle, locking elbows with the other person in your group. leave about 4 foot distance between each group in the circle. (if you have too many people you can have more than one circle.) now, you pick two people, the runner and the person whos it. so now you havice breaker games for meetingse a circle, with groups of two people, four feet aparts, all the way around it, a runner and someone who's it. whoever's it has to chase the runner around the circle. if the runner gets tagged, he or she is it. to avoid being tagged, the runner can link arms with someone in the circle. the person who isnt linked then becomes the runner, ex. bob and wilson are linked, joe is the runner, who links to bob, therefore, wilson is the new runner. its fun, play for any amount of time, but dont play it too long, you dont want the people attending sweaty for the rest of the meeting!!!

As long as you have an unlimited data plan with your cell phone provider, you can download as many programs for your phone as you would like without an added cost to you as long as the programs / games are freegames free. Some games you have to pay for and some are completely free. If you have a Blackberry Cell Phone, I would check out Blackberry App World (link below), or if you have an Iphone I would check out the App Store (link below). They are both great resources for finding games to either your Iphone or Blackberry Cell Phone and they also have a good number of free gagames freemes on there.
