He will be making a rock album entitled "T-Pain Is Dead." The album is supposed to come out in late 2009 and will be a brand new style for T-Pain. He has mentioned possibles collaborations such as Daft Punk & Toby Keith. One of the song he recorded already is called "That's Not Cool" which he played at a listening party. He is supposedly not using auto-tune on this album

Obviously you haven't heard t-pain sing without autotune because he is a talented singer, he just plays to the masses in pop music by using it. Post-editing someone with a terrible voice is a huge and extremely hard process so for the toby keith latest albummajority of people using autotune they still have a decent voice.
Well i've seen in interviews that he does want to make a rock album so I think it is true. He also said he wanted to work with Fred Durst and said he's already made a song with Toby Keith. Idk though I like t-pain more of a singer then a rock musician.
